I know this is a long shot, but after riding solo for 6+ years I'm willing to try this forum out.
My name is Kat. I'm a 21 year old upcoming IT graduate. I live in Northern VA. I own a 10 year old black and white tobiano TB Draft X gelding named Tio. I ride english and western, but most of my experience is english. I used to show hunters/jumpers years ago. I have been riding around the farm I board at (10 acres) by myself for the past 6 years or so. I'm currently working the Parelli program(level 2) with my horse, but I'm happy to ride with someone who has never heard of Parelli.
Honestly I just miss connecting with people, gaining feedback, constructive criticism, and outside perspectives while riding. I have my own transportation but no trailer, so I have never taken my horse off the farm where I board. I would really like to learn more about competitive trail riding, and hopefully meet someone who can bring me closer to getting my horse out on his first trail.
I can be reached at tbabysmum[at]gmail[dot]com.
Feel free to pass this on. I would really like to find a riding buddy. Regards!

I'm not in VA but I'm darn close, so I get down into NoVa all the time with work etc. -Griffin-
